Estimate of the QCD corrections to the decay Z->Wu(d)over-bar

摘要：

We present a method for computing QCD corrections to the decay rate Gamma(Z --> Wu(d) over bar) to arbitrary accuracy using the difference of masses of M-Z and M-W as an expansion parameter. We give an estimate of the correction by computing the first term of this expansion. In addition, the method presented here helps to determine the scale of the strong coupling constant in the final result. A complete analytical formula for a part of the corrections is also presented.
