Review and compilation of experimental results on thin-walled structures

The development of plate buckling problems has been reviewed over the years by a few researchers. In this paper, an update of the review will be given with particular emphasis on experimental work done on plates, beams and columns. A random selection of some experimental results has been collected and compiled in a comprehensive and informative format so as to provide a database for use by future researchers. This is also available in a computer spreadsheet program which can also be used for distributing this database to those who require it. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
