Spectroscopical characterization of TiO2 powders prepared from stable colloidal solutions

摘要
TiO2 powders prepared by arrested hydrolysis of titanium isopropoxide in colloidal solutions have been analyzed at different stages of preparation, including subsequent thermal treatment, by absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy supported by dynamical light scattering and X-ray diffraction experiments. The results are discussed with an emphasis on the role of the precursor and the crystalline structure modification under the treatment. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
