By interfacing a digital camera with a scientific microwave unit it is possible to monitor macroscopic effects as reactions proceed, including color and viscosity changes, evolution of gases, metal-mediated couplings, and arcing. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
