Block-selective movement of α-cyclodextrins in polyrotaxanes of PEI-b-PEG-b-PEI copolymer

摘要
The design of a pH-sensitive polyrotaxane by end-capping the polypseudorotaxane of the PEI-b-PEG-b-PEI copolymer and α-CDs was investigated. It was found that the solubility in aqueous solution was increased by eliminating the hydrogen bonding between the α-CD by introducing tert-butoxy groups. The ph-dependent mobility of α-CDs was confirmed by spin lattice and spin-spin relaxation times for C(1)H of α-CDs. The results show that the appropriate design of stimuli-sensitive polymers and the control of interactions between the interior of cyclic compounds and a linear polymer chain may extend the scope to a variety of supramolecular assembly systems.
