(Figure Presented) You'll never walk alane: An intriguing T-shaped platinum-alane adduct results from the almost quantitive reaction of [Pt(PCy3)2] with AlX3 (X = Cl, Br, I). The compound [(Cy3P)2Pt-AlCl3] represents the first neutral alane complex displaying an unsupported Pt-Al dative bond. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
