摘要
The overstrength, ductility, and the response modification factors of special concentric braced frames (SCBFs) and ordinary concentric braced frames (OCBFs) were evaluated by performing pushover analysis of model structures with various stories and span lengths. The 14 results were compared with those from nonlinear incremental dynamic analyses. According to the analysis results. the response modification factors of model structures computed from pushover analysis were generally smaller than the values given in the design codes except in low-rise SCBFs. The results of incremental dynamic analysis generally matched well with those obtained from pushover analysis (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
