摘要
Ultrasonic effects on emulsion and suspension electrolyses were examined using model reactions for direct and/or indirect, and cathodic reduction and/or anodic oxidation from a practical aspect of electroorganic synthesis. In most cases, the current efficiencies were increased by ultrasonic irradiation, though those were complicatedly influenced by rate of mechanical stirring for emulsifying and suspending the electrolytic solutions regardless of the irradiation. A mechanism for occurrence of the ultrasonic effects was preliminarily discussed on the basis of promotion of mass transport by ultrasounds.
