摘要
Following the publishing of the human genome map, geneticists were unable to believe that humans had approximately only 30,000 genes despite the production of 90,000 different proteins. A process known as alternative splicing is responsible for this process as a small number of genes are capable of generating amuch larger assortment of proteins.
