摘要：

This account focuses on the generation of alpha-lithiated aryloxitanes such as lithiated oxazolinylaryloxiranes, lithiated styrene-. phenylpropylene- and stilbene oxides, their chemical and configurational stability, reactivity and some synthetic applications. It is shown how these special reagents have been successfully employed for the preparation of a variety of substances including polysubstituted aryloxiranes, highly strained heterocyclic compounds, alpha, beta-epoxy-gamma-butyrolactones, cyclopropane carboxylates.
