[GRAPHICS] Many important asymmetric reactions are catalyzed by (BINOLate)Ti species with unknown structures. Reported here are three structures of BINOLate titanium complexes that show an interesting aggregation of (BINOLate)Ti(OiPR)(2) with itself and with titanium tetraisopropoxide. These complexes are potential intermediates in the asymmetric addition of alkyl groups to aldehydes.
