摘要
Let there be light! An effective strategy for the design of highly efficient phosphine oxide light-emitting-diode hosts with an ortho-linked structure has been demonstrated by synthesizing 4-diphenylphosphoryl dibenzofuran. The ortho linkage of the phosphine oxide moiety has the dual effect of retaining high T1 levels and efficiently polarising chromophores (see graphic). © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
