The mismatch between evidence and practice - Common therapies in search of evidence

摘要：
The practice of evidence-based medicine requires use of the current best evidence to make decisions about the care of individual patients. Many neonatal therapies have not been investigated adequately for efficacy and safety. This article reviews the evidence for and against six common therapies. The current practices for these therapies and the implications for future practice are considered.
