摘要
Make it a double: Complementary probes with two pyrene labels were engineered for the amplification of a target DNA sequence. In the stem-closed conformation of the probes in the absence of the target, the two pyrene moieties were separated. The target propagated hybridization chain reactions to bring pyrene moieties on neighboring probes close together to form fluorescent pyrene excimers (see picture). © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
