Synthesis and x-ray crystal structure of a chlorobis(trimethylsiloxy)zirconium silyl derivative, (Me3SiO)2Zr(SiPh2But)Cl•2THF

摘要
The chlorobis(trimethylsiloxy)zirconium silyl derivative (Me3SiO)(2)Zr(SiPh2But)Cl . 2THF (2) and its precursor (Me3SiO)(2)ZrCl2. 2THF (1) have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The Zr-Si bond distance of 2.848(3) Angstrom in 2 is, to our knowledge, the longest reported Zr-Si bond to date.
