摘要
The hydraulic pressure experiment was conducted on a pipe specimen to simulate active defect evolvement of main cooling piping in the nuclear power plant (NPP), and the acoustic emission technique was used to monitor the acoustic emission (AE) from it incessantly. It was found that the changes of real time AE is sensitive to movement of microscopic structure. The amplitude and energy show activity of fatigue crack well. The differential distribution of amplitude together with cumulative event number not only revealed trend of active defect well but also gave out some hint of potential leak in piping.
