摘要
Synthetic analogues of the active sites in iron-sulfur proteins were studied. X-ray crystallography was used to study the structures. Electron configurations, magnetic ground states and kinetic liability to substitution of terminal ligands were also studied. It was found that all the properties can be attributed to the weak-field nature of the complexes and the clusters.
