Resonant effects on rate constants in the presence of fluctuating barriers

摘要
We study a very simple model for the cage effect for a chemical reaction in a solvent. The effect of the solvent is represented by two fluctuating barriers together with a standard diffusion and deexcitation process. We prove the existence of a resonant effect for the overall rate constant.
