Radiative and collisional atomic data for neon-like silicon

摘要
Energy levels, line strengths, weighted oscillator strengths, radiative decay rates and electron-impact collision strengths are presented for neon-like Si V which is important for astrophysical and laboratory plasmas. Atomic data are calculated with the SUPERSTRUCTURE package using scaled Thomas-Fermi-Dirac-Amaldi potentials. Relativistic corrections are introduced according to the Breit-Pauli approach.The 1s(2)2S(2)2p(6), 1S(2),2S(2)2p(6)3/ and 1s(2)S(2)2p(5)4/ (l <= n - 1) configurations are included to obtain the corresponding 75 energy levels of Si V. Non-relativistic collisional data are calculated using the UCL-Distorted Wave code which are transformed to fine-structure data by UCL-JAJOM code. The collision strengths are obtained for seven incident impact electron energies: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 and 105Ry. Some of these data are compared with available experimental and theoretical data.
