(Chemical Equation Presented) Selective adsorption of CO over N2 and O2 by the title compounds make these materials ideal candidates for use in CO sensors (see picture). The materials are prepared by a sol-gel process and exhibit greater chemical stability than analogous isolated cobalt(III) corrole complexes. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
