摘要
The chemiluminescence of periodate and hydrogen peroxide in KOH-K2CO3 medium has been developed as a flow-through sensor for the determination of H2O2 in the rainwater. Periodate, hydroxyl and carbonate ions were immobilized on a strongly basic anion-exchange resin. Several different resins, e.g. Amberlite IRA series, Amberlyst A-26 and A-27 and Muromac MSA-1 and SBR were compared. The preparations of the resins in IO4-, OH- and CO32- forms were also discussed. Using the mixture of two different IRA-458 resins separately treated with 0.02 M KIO4 solution and 0.9 mol l(-1) KOH-0.4 mol l(-1) K,CO, solution, the sensor can be used to determine H2O2 in the range of 2.0 x 10(-7)-1 X 10(-4) mol l(-1). The limit of detection is 1.0 x 10(-7) mol l(-1) H,Oz and the relative standard derivation is 3.8% for the 1 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) H2O2 solution in 15 repeated measurements. This method has been successfully applied to determine H2O2 in rainwater without any sample pre-treatment. The recoveries for all samples were 90-107%. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
