摘要：

Hysterectomy is the most common non-pregnancy-related surgical procedure among women. Patients who undergo laparoscopic hysterectomy demonstrate more rapid recovery and decreased perioperative morbidity compared to those who undergo laparotomy and may experience less postoperative pain compared to the vaginal approach. Recommendations for preoperative work-up and counseling are provided, including data regarding cervical retention versus removal. Additionally, detailed procedural recommendations for laparoscopic hysterectomy are outlined.
