摘要
To explain the crystallization behaviour and phase relationships of precursor derived Si-B-C-N ceramics, ln(pN(2))-T diagrams were calculated. The results can be used to optimize the chemical composition and the physico-chemical conditions for heat treatment. Stabilization of specific phase assemblages requires careful adjustment of the N-2 partial pressure during heating and cooling. The high thermal stability of silicoboron carbonitrides can be explained by their particular microstructure and the resulting stabilization of Si3N4.
