摘要
We present a simple analytic model, based on surface plasmon propagation, that explains the depolarization induced by metal hole arrays illuminated with linearly and circularly polarized light of varying numerical apertures. Arrays with square and hexagonal lattices of circular holes are compared. We relate this model to experimental data. (c) 2005 Optical Society of America.
