Inclusion complexes formation between cyclodextrins and poly(1,3-dioxolane)

摘要
A study and preparation of crystalline inclusion complexes between three kinds of cyclodextrins (CD) and poly(1,3-dioxolane) (PDXL) was presented. For this purpose PDXL were prepared by bulk polymerization under nitrogen atmosphere using ethylene glycol as the initiator and BF3&middotEt2O as a catalyst. It was found that resulting inclusion complexes were crystalline and had columnar structure.
