摘要
The clean and safe production of hydrogen from water using solar energy can be considered vital to the future as one of the main challenges facing scientists today. For the photoelectrochemical decomposition of water, it was found that a potential difference of more than 1.23 eV was necessary between cathodic and anodic electrodes, at which the following anodic processes and cathodic reactions take place. This paper focuses on systems which can convert solar energy into chemical energy by using semiconducting oxide photocatalysts.
