摘要
Biodegradation of crystal violet by Phanerochaete chrysosporium (MTCC 767) was experimentally determined and Box-Behnken design methods and analysis of variance have been applied to these experimental biodegradation studies. Response surface methodology was used in the identification of significant effects and interaction for the biodegradation studies. This methodology assumes and identifies the principal experimental variables and their interactions which have the greatest effect on biodegradation. The experimental values are in good agreement with predicted values, and the correlation coefficient was found to be 0.9997.
