摘要
The presence of grain coarsening is studied in bulk nanocrystalline Cu samples synthesized by inert gas condensation and in electrodeposited (ED) Ni under uniaxial compression. Grain coarsening is clearly evidenced in Cu, but is less pronounced than coarsening under an indenter. No coarsening is observed in ED-Ni. (C) 2007 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
