Electrically tunable microwave phase shifter based on layered ferrite-ferroelectric structure

摘要
A novel electrically tunable microwave phase shifter is proposed based on surface spin wave propagation in a layered structure containing ferrite and ferroelectric materials. Operating characteristics of the phase shifter are investigated theoretically. It is shown that waveguiding elements from planar layered ferrite-ferroelectric structures allow the construction of compact devices with high electrical tunability achieving 10 degrees /V.
