摘要
Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs), members of the TG F-P superfamily, have critical functions in many biological contexts. Recent findings in Drosophila and vertebrates suggest that BMP signaling can be modulated extracellularly and intracellularly by the availability of BMP inhibitors and Smads, respectively.
