Flux pinning by Ba-site magnetic rare-earth ions in (rare-earth)(1+u)Ba2-uCu3Ox compounds

The same physics that correctly predicted superconductivity of PrBa2Cu3O7 also explains flux pinning by Ba-site magnetic rare-earth ions in (rare-earth)(1+u)Ba2-uCu3Ox compounds with x approximate to 7. The customary cuprate-plane picture of superconductivity must be revised in the same way to consistently explain the observations either of flux pinning or of PrBa2Cu3O7 superconductivity with T-c approximate to 90 K.
