摘要
The predictability of the flow of bivariate cardiorespiratory data was examined by means of the delta-epsilon method. This method was originally developed for the analysis of univariate time series to detect the deterministic aspects of dynamics. The approach was extended to detect the coupling between respiratory movements and heart-rate fluctuations. The validity of this approach is illustrated by the analysis of simulated coupled oscillators.
