Anomalous x-ray diffraction is used to investigate self-organized ordering of PbSe/PbEuTe quantum dot superlattices in which different ordered structures form for different PbSe dot layer spacings. Using a theoretical dot ordering model, the different ordering parameters are determined from the x-ray spectra. (C) 2004 American Institute of Physics.
