摘要
Adult skeletal muscle fibers are terminally differentiated such that hypertrophy and regeneration require resident stem cell populations. This review examines the current understanding of the factors regulating muscle stern cells in response to exercise and identify the role of these cells in the adaptive response of skeletal muscle to endurance and resistance exercise training.
