摘要
A conditions under which living polymerization of ethylene can be carried out using palladium α-diimine catalysts to yield amorphous polyethylene with controlled and very narrow molecular weight distributions were developed. All of the polymers synthesized using the palladium α-diimine catalysts are highly branched with ca. 100 branches/1000 carbons in the polymer. This branching number is independent of polymerization conditions.
