摘要
The present study deals with preparation, analysis and targeting of biodegradable magnetic nanocomposite particles. These magnetic particles were initially synthesized using biodegradable/biocompatible organic polymers and nanosize magnetites. After the characterization studies, the guiding of magnetic nanoparticles was investigated through the use of external magnetic fields by changing fluid speeds, magnet distance, magnetic saturation and solid contents. It was determined that these factors substantially influenced the type of magnetic guidance system that is needed for an effective drug delivery. For example, at 10cm/s pump speed, and 0 and 8 cm, magnet distances, approximately 67% and 13% of the particles (27.1 emu/g) remained in the magnetic system, respectively. The test results confirm that the targeting system may prove useful for controlling the positioning of the magnetic particles to a certain part of body using external magnetic fields.
