Synthesis and characterization of IrH2{Si(OTf)Ph(2)}(TFB)(PR(3)) (PR(3)=P(i)Pr3, PCy(3)): First base-stabilized silylene complexes of iridium

摘要
The reactions of H(2)SiPh(2) with the triflato complexes Ir(OTf)(TFB)(PR(3)) afford the base stabilized silylene complexes IrH2{Si(OTf)Ph(2)}(TFB)(PR(3)) (TFB = tetrafluorobenzobarrelene; PR(3) = (PPr3)-Pr-i, PCy(3)). The single-crystal X-ray structural analysis of IrH2{Si(OTf)-Ph(2)}(TFB)((PPr3)-Pr-i) has been performed. The distances IrSi (2.337(2) Angstrom) and Si-O (1.790(5) Angstrom) as well as the summation of angles at silicon, ignoring the Si-OTf bond (343.5 degrees), are in, agreement with the partial unsaturated character of the base-stabilized silylene ligand.
