Molecule-based ferroelectric thin films: Mononuclear lanthanide enantiomers displaying room-temperature ferroelectric and dielectric properties

摘要
(Graph Presented) Eu-reka! Two neutral mononuclear europium enantiomers [Eu(tta)3L] and their thin films were prepared (tta = 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonate; L = (-)-4,5-pinene bipyridine (1), L = (+)-4,5-pinene bipyridine (2)). The ferroelectric measurements of the thin films show E-P hysteresis loops at room temperature (Tc = 28.0°C) with remnant polarization of 0.022 μC cm-2 and a coercive field of 25 kV cm-1. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
