摘要
(Chemical Equation Presented) Lined up nicely: The self-assembly of proteins on rationally designed nanostructures into periodic linear arrays has been demonstrated. Triple-crossover DNA tiles 1 containing an aptamer sequence (AS) to which thrombin specifically binds can form linear arrays 2. These direct the ultimate positioning of thrombin proteins (green spheres) in 3. This system should facilitate the construction of other such programmable nanoscale protein arrays. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
