摘要
A factor fundamental to bone formation has been identified. Gene targeting shows that core-binding factor al (Cbfa1) plays an essential role in bone formation and osteoblast differentiation. Thus, it is now possible to begin examining the molecular mechanisms of bone formation - especially osteoblast differentiation.
