Sleep in children with psychiatric disorders

摘要：
This article presents an overview of the sleep disturbances most commonly seen in children with psychiatric disorders. Relationships between sleep difficulties and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and pervasive developmental disabilities are discussed in the context of a general pediatric practice. The psychotherapeutic and pharmacologic interventions that are effective means of treating these common sleep disturbances in children with psychiatric disorders are also discussed.
