Ultrafast photodissociation of methyl nitrite excited to the S2 state

摘要
By exciting the methyl nitrite molecule to the electronic S-2 state by 125 fs laser pulses at wavelengths near 200 nm, we have found a decay time of (25 +/- 15) fs caused by direct dissociation. The NO fragment is produced in the electronic ground state. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
