摘要
Some kinds of gas discharge, such as bridged-over corona discharge, intermittent spark discharge, and high-pressure glow discharge were produced in an acoustic tube and a high-intensity standing sound wave at an acoustic frequency of 660 Hz was also irradiated in the tube. The discharge produced in such high-intensity acoustic wave fields shows diverse and unique behaviors. The luminous part spreads wider due to the vibration of the gaseous medium. Moreover, the discharge mode is changed by the sound wave irradiations. In this paper, images of the discharge produced in high-intensity acoustic wave fields are described.
