摘要
Synchrobron-radiation-excited angle-resolved photoemission spectra for the (100) and (111) faces of AuAl2 are presented, along with derived experimental dispersion relations. These bands are compared with those obtained from the theoretical bandstructure calculation. The density-of-state curves, band hybridization, and charge transfer for AuAl2 are also calculated. The energy variation of the Au 5d bands for AuAl2 shows atomic-like behavior in the photon-energy range of 80-200 eV. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
