Gold nanoparticles: Assembly, supramolecular chemistry, quantum-size-related properties, and applications toward biology, catalysis, and nanotechnology

摘要
The assembly, supramolecular chemistry, quantum-size-related properties and applications towards biology, catalysis and nanotechnology of gold nanoparticles (AuNP) were discussed. The optimization of potassium-ion-exchanged optical waveguides in glass for evanescent field propulsion of AuNP was also done. It was observed that the optical manipulation of AuNP on waveguide surfaces offers a controllable tool for application to particle sorting, sensing and atomic mirrors. The use of AuNP in optoelectronic devices enhance the optical and electrical properties, stability and inhibits photoluminescence decay.
