摘要：

This review describes recent advances in enzymatic and chemical methods for the facile generation of complex oligosaccharides and glycoconjugates. It is emphasized that glycosylation remains one of the most poorly understood postranslational modifications, although general themes in glycoconjugate function are slowly emerging.
