摘要：

The linear Schrodinger equation was generalized into a nonlinear equation by including the self-induced repulsive interaction due to the trapping of incident electrons inside a quantum well region, and was solved exactly by using the finite-difference method. Based on the generalized Schrodinger equation, the effects of nonlinearity and electric field on the transmission and bistability of incident electrons were studied using a single-wave model. The interaction between nonlinear electron waves was studied using a two-wave model. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
