The enigmatic display

Te use of the monocular head-up displays which are considered as the most distinctive component of many wearable computers is discussed. Head-worn displays have several advantages over PDA displays, including speed of access, less vulnerability of damage, privacy, adjustable focus, less power, virtual overlay on physical world, and potential for large virtual images. With a head-up diaply and a fast-mounting system, the user can access the system in as little as one-tenth of a PDA user's time. Such accessibility lets the users frequently use the display and wearable computer for quick reference and note taking.
