摘要
A recyclable catalytic system for the asymmetric dihydroxylation of olefins was developed by using a mono-quaternized bis-cinchona alkaloid ligand 3 and OsO4 combined with PEG or an ionic liquid. Both the catalytic components could be recovered and reused in five consecutive reactions without any additional OsO4 or ligand. The catalytic system is effective in the AD reactions of seven olefins. (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
