Mechanism of lithium insertion into disordered carbon

摘要
A solid-state lithium-7 nuclear magnetic resonance of fully charged disordered carbon was measured at various temperatures. It shows three kinds of interactions between Li species and the disordered carbon in low temperature. These three kinds of lithium storage sites provide the high-energy density for the lithium ion rechargeable batteries.
